We have customers who celebrate Diwali, Chinese New Year, Ramadan, Eid and many other holidays that are celebrated with festive displays of holiday lighting. Our mini-lights are suitable for any occasion and we also carry G30 and G20 bulbs, which are round bulbs that emit the same quality of light as our cone shaped C7 and C9 bulbs, but are suitable for any occasion, not just christmas. Additionally we have summer lighting, such as patio light stringers to enhance your outdoor space for evenings entertaining guests and family.

The price of holiday lighting installation in Oakville, Burlington or Nearby Areas varies greatly depending on the scope of your desired design as it is calculated per foot and per strand. For a clean and elegant display of lights along your home’s roofline, prices start between $700 & $1600 for a small to average sized house, however the price will go up for larger or more complex displays. We can work with you to find the right match for what you’re willing to invest.

For bushes and trees we like to use 5mm LED light strings that come in 25ft lengths, or C7 light bulbs on socket-wire that we cut to length, all coming in various colour combinations to suit your sense of holiday magic. The price is based on the surface area you want to cover. Eg. If you want to wrap a tree with a spherical canopy that’s 20ft wide and want to wrap from 10ft up to 25ft in height (15ft of canopy) with 2 foot spacing between each wrap, that would come out to 395 feet of lights! (16 strands of mini-lights). The total price for that would be $1008 including materials, installation and removal. If you were to use C7 lights to achieve a more scattered light distribution that would cost $1900. A tree like this is sure to become a holiday landmark in your neighbourhood, because it will be visible from blocks away!

When we provide you with a holiday lighting installation quote it’s itemized by materials (light bulbs, socket wire, custom cut extension chords, plugs, timers etc) and labour. Installation and removal is always included in the total labour cost. We also provide full season maintenance at no extra cost to ensure that your holiday lighting display shines bright all season long! Once we’ve installed your lights, you own them. So next year unless you want to add more lights, you will only pay the labour portion. 

Eg. If your quote this year is itemized as $700 for materials and $500 for labour, next years installation and removal for the same display will only be $500 as you already own the lights.

We supply the lights, climb the ladders, expertly install and maintain everything and make sure everything is removed and properly stored at the end of the season.

1. The first thing you would notice in a side-by-side comparison is that our lights are much brighter and more stable compared to cheaper lights that might have a slight flicker to them.
2. Our commerical grade lights are more energy efficient, allowing for longer runs of lights on a power supply and ofcourse long term energy savings! Our large cone lights only draw 0.45W per bulb allowing for runs up to 250ft while still maintaining industry leading brightness!
3. The lights we use feature improved water resistance, UV stabilized lenses and an internal optical cone for wider light dispersion. You will see your display from a mile away!
4. We use only CSA approved SPT-2 Wiring designed for the hard Ontario climate
5. We don’t cheap out by using electrical tape to connect wires or to terminate runs. We use dielectric grease filled termination caps and plugs to minimise risk of tripped GFCI’s and improving longevity of the wires by protecting them from corrosion caused by water infiltration.

We get this question a lot! Although you could technically leave your lights up all year, it isn’t recommended. Holiday lighting is intended for seasonal use only. Long term exposure heat and UV radiation will degrade the plastic that protects the wires and bulb lenses can go opaque over time, causing them to not shine as bright as they used to. Over time water infiltrating the wires and sockets causes corrosion. All of this comes with safety concerns arising from deteriorated insulation and increased resistance in the wires leading to heat generation that in extreme cases can . If you are looking for a more permanent option ask your installer about our permanent lighting option that is designed for year round use.
